Bring on the Julie Andrews impersonation, because these are now a few of our favourite things…
We’ve had all the love for Michael Kors ever since he took a seat on the Project Runway panel all those years ago, and even though he has since left, our love remains.
While we’re still lusting over his accessories (in particular a rose gold watch and tote if anyone’s asking – and buying), along he comes with a new beauty line that’s left us drooling.
Exclusive to the Arnotts Beauty Hall from mid-October, the first Michael Kors global beauty lifestyle collection is divided into three themes, ‘Sporty’, ‘Sexy’ and ‘Glam’ – straight to the point, eh MK?

Within the line, you’ll find The Beauty Collection, The Fragrance Collection, The Body Collection and The Sun Collection. From subtle news to striking colour pops, the collection is more about having classics suitable for every woman than indulging in passing beauty fads.
Pucker Up: For lips, there are three colour-saturated luxurious Lip Lustre lipsticks and three slick Lip Lacquer glosses including SPORTY DIVA, MUSE, SEXY BOMBSHELL, SIREN, GLAM DAME and ICON, from €27.50
Nail It: MK has created a wardrobe of six must-wear shades, two colours selected for each mood, from pale nudes to deep ebony. SPORTY HINT, GOSSIP, SEXY SCANDAL, SENSATION, GLAM ENVY and DESIRE, €20
Bronzed Beauty: Three shades of ultimate bronze powders housed in fabulously oversized square gold compacts. Prices start from €20
Make Scents: The Fragrance Collection includes three major fragrance statements, Sporty Citrus, Sexy Amber and Glam Jasmine.
SPORTY CITRUS is crisp with orange and mandarin at the forefront, while warm woods and white florals linger in the background.
SEXY AMBER puts the spotlight on sumptuous amber wrapped in sandalwood and musk, against a bright backdrop of dazzling orange, mandarin and white florals.
GLAM JASMINE gives centre stage to Kors’ beloved floral note, jasmine, while warm woodsy notes and sparkling citrus are less prominent.
The collection arrives in the beauty hall at Arnotts this October.
