If you're a fan of Quatro Formaggi (four cheese) pizza, you might be interested to know that a new (even cheesier) flavour has been developed.
Novantanove Formaggi includes 99 types of cheese and it is dubbed the 'Super Cheese'.
Created by chef Johnny di Francesco, who works at Melbourne's 400 Gradi, the pizza is made by melting down 94 types of cheese to form a solid block, creating a special 'cheese paste'.
The next step is to cover the pizza dough in a thin layer of the cheese paste and cooking it for 45 minutes.
As if that wasn't enough cheese to satisfy your appetite, five fresh cheeses, including goat's cheese and raspadura, are added before the pizza is served.
Although the pizza sounds like it could leave you feeling very full, a food blogger for the Australian Guardian has described it as "generous without being excessive" with a "delectably light" base.
After writing this, we are experiencing serious pizza cravings while also debating the merits of a trip to Melbourne...
