While Beyoncé survived a fall and delighted fans with new of an Irish concert date, Lady Gaga opened the show at Levi’s stadium in Santa Clara, California with a gospel performance of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’.
Gaga donner a glittering red suit, with matching eye-shadow and American flag shoes in her usual demure fashion stylings for her spot at centre-stage.
The singer and star of ‘American Horror Story’’s talent was so well received that fans even compared her to Whitney Houston's iconic performance in 1991.
