Liberty Poole, who rose to fame after appearing on the 2021 season of the reality dating show, is urging people to 'embrace their bodies'.
The social media personality won the hearts of many for her 'girls girl' energy and the self-love journey she embarked on while in the villa.
As she is known for promoting body positivity and encouraging her followers to love themselves the way they are, it comes as no surprise that this viral beauty trend is something she is keen to warn others of.
The 'Kaz and Liberty' podcast host explained to The Sun at The Beauty Awards that she often receives messages from fans inquiring about her confidence.
Speaking about beauty trends, Liberty says it's an oversaturated market, with some trends more dangerous than others.
"There is a lot out there that- you're scrolling and you're like 'hmmm', side-eye.
"But I think BBLs (Brazilian Bum Lift), because I think they are so dangerous and I hear so many horror stories about them, I think people should just embrace their bodies that they are born in."
"I would say BBLs, I'm not a fan of them," she added when asked what she felt the worst procedure was.
This procedure is carried out by removing fat from areas like the back or stomach and then transferring it into the bum area.
This comes following news of an Irish woman who passed away after travelling to Turkey to undergo alleged weight loss surgery last week.
While the exact cause of her death has yet to be confirmed, the Department of Foreign Affairs has stated that it is aware of this case and is prepared to provide any consular assistance needed.
At least three Irish women have died following bariatric surgery in Turkey this year alone.
It’s well-known that many travel to the Middle-Eastern country to avail of cheaper cosmetic procedures; from hair transplants to veneers, and BBL (Brazilian Bum Lift) surgery.
Due to the surge in the popularity of the aforementioned surgeries in recent years, the Department of Foreign Affairs has urged the Irish public to seek advice from their doctors before undergoing any of these procedures overseas.
