Kate Middleton has undergone a massive hairstyle change - and it's the ultimate #inspo.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out this morning with Prince George and Prince William, as they walked Princess Charlotte to her first day at school. And while the four-year-old royal definitely stole the show, eagle-eyed fans of the royal family were quick to notice Kate's new 'do. The mum-of-three, who wore her hair down for the school run this morning, was pictured with a lighter and much warmer hair colour, with honey-toned highlights throughout. She also appears to be sporting a much shorter hairstyle since the last time she was seen in public. The early morning light reflected off the hair - which definitely could have made it look a little lighter than it actually is - but either way, we are loving it. The Duchess of Cambridge held onto the daughter's schoolbag as they walked into the classroom, with Prince George walking alongside his father. The family were greeted by the head of the lower school, Helen Haslem, with William telling her how Charlotte was "very excited" to be started school. Thomas’s Battersea is described as "a busy, thriving, purposeful school", which has 560 students between the ages of four and 13. They offer a broad curriculum, with Art, Ballet, Drama, ICT, French, Music and PE all taught by specialist teachers from a child’s first day in school. The school's website says:

"As you would expect of any Thomas’s school, the most important school rule is to 'Be Kind'. The school is structured in three, three-year stages (the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools) within a framework of 'Enjoyment, Learning and Achievement', which informs a child’s journey through the school. "Children join at the age of four and leave at 11 or 13. Whilst we are proud of our record of senior school entrance and scholarship successes, we place a greater emphasis on a set of core values, which include kindness, courtesy, confidence, humility and learning to be givers, not takers. "We hope that our pupils will leave this school with a strong sense of social responsibility, set on a path to become net contributors to society and to flourish as conscientious and caring citizens of the world."
