Last night, the Golden Globes were on.
Lots of things happened including A Star Is Born being snubbed to bits, Sandra Oh making history, and Bohemian Rhapsody winning a load of awards it arguably shouldn't have.
Another thing that also happened was Jessica Chastain sharing the first ever photo of her baby daughter.
A moment of note, definitely.

The photo was shared on Chastain's Instagram ahead of the ceremony while the actor was sorting herself out for the night.
If you were at all hoping for a fully face frontal shot, however, you might be ever so slightly disappointed because the pic is of Chastain's baby's hand gripping a ring that Chastain is also holding in her own hand.
Still though, this is as much her fan's have ever gotten baby-wise so, you know, big deal and all.

Chastain and husband Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo welcomed their daughter via surrogate in April of last year.
There had been much speculation as to whether the couple had become parents due to their decision to keep their family life very much out of the limelight.

The news was eventually confirmed towards the end of the year when the two were spotted walking a pram.
Chastain and de Preposulo married in 2017 in Italy after dating for four years.
Their baby daughter is their first child together.
