An update has been issued on Mo Chara's terrorism charge case as the court was adjourned.
The Kneecap star was accused of displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at the group's gig in London last year.
Hundreds of supporters and activists were present outside Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London today ahead of the rapper's appearance.
The 27-year-old arrived at court alongside his bandmates Naoise Ó Cairealláin and JJ Ó Dochartaigh, where he was swarmed by photographers.
Security officers took over a minute to usher him inside the court.
The band members sat in court as Liam Ó hAnnaidh, whose stage name is Mo Chara, confirmed his name, date of birth, and address.
The Belfast man was accused of saying 'Up Hamas, up Hizbullah' while holding the flag at last year's gig; however Mo Chara and his bandmates have denied this and said the flag was thrown onto the stage by members of the audience.
His defense is seeking to throw the case out, citing a technical error, as the charge was brought more than 6 months after the incident.
The court has now been adjourned until September 26, when Judge Paul Goldspring will decide on whether he has jurisdiction to hear the case.
Mo Chara, who has not yet entered a plea, was released on unconditional bail until his next appearance.
