Síomha Ní Ruairc has announced that she and her husband Cathal Pendred have welcomed their first child.
The former Ireland AM presenter announced on social media Friday that she is now a proud mum to a baby girl.
She shared two sweet snaps of her and her husband beaming at their newborn.
She captioned the post: “Ag dul i dtaithí ar ár saol nua lenár gcailín álai,” which translates to: “Getting used to life with our gorgeous girl.”
Síomha added: “Our lives and hearts have never been fuller.”
It didn't take long for Síomha’s comment section to be flooded with heartfelt messages congratulating the pair on their newest addition to the family, with Katja Mia writing: “OMG, congrats girl!!!!”
Back in Julu, Síomha and Cathal announced that they were expecting their first child together.
At the time, the popular TV personality posted a photo to her Instagram of her and Cathal posing with a sonogram, and showcasing Síomha’s baby bump.
In her caption, she wrote, “Leanbh nua ag teacht ar an saol mí Eanáir 2026 ”, which sweetly translates into: “New baby coming into the world in January 2026.”
The happy couple tied the knot at the stunning Lough Eske Castle in Donegal in summer 2024 after they got engaged in 2020, when Síomha popped the question.
