You might not get to choose where you’re driving to or what weather you’re driving in but you can choose what you get to listen to.

It’s laid-back. It’s easy to sing along to. It suits all moods. In fact it’s pretty perfect for any journey.

2. My Favourite Game by The Cardigans

While we wouldn’t advise you to drive like the lead singer in the video, we would definitely advise you to put this on your car stereo.

3. Black Betty by Spiderbait

If you can stop your head from bobbing when this 2004 hit comes on, you are far stronger than we are.

4. Pompeii by Bastille

It has been one of the biggest songs of the year so far and quite rightly so but we have to admit that we love it most when we’re behind the wheel.

5. Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles

This classic will have you singing at the top of your voice in no time but just make sure you do come back!
