3D printing is one of the many technological marvels in the modern world. The new process is well on the way to transforming the lives of many, and it's only going to become more and more ubiquitous as time passes. We have to say, that one of the cutest ways the technology helps the world is by enabling animals with congenital deformities to run and walk again. According to Gizmag, Derby the husky was born with no front paws, and a dog rescue group called Peace and Paws in New Hampshire got in contact with Tara Anderson, an employee at a 3D printing company.  created via Giphy It took many tries to get the new design just right according to Anderson: "Anderson arrived at an iteration she likens to the human knee, in that it had just the right amount of give and take. She then crafted the new prostheses using selective laser sintering and fitted it to Derby's front legs, where he seemed to take them in his stride." Look at the delight on Derby's face!
