Have you ever returned home from a hotel stay with some extra items on your person? A face cloth, perhaps... or the key you forgot to return?
It happens, all the time. When it happened to Catherine Legget, however, she made sure to return the inadvertently nabbed item, along with what might be the best apology an Irish hotel has ever seen.
Catherine found when she returned home from a little break in the Talbot Hotel, Wexford, that a teaspoon had somehow wound up in her washbag. In returning it, she added this pretty perfect poem.
Lisa from the Talbot told Her.ie today: "We think it’s fantastic and have shared on our own social media. We are also thinking of framing it and hanging it in the hotel. It’s a unique review, so to say!"
