Priorities. Two massive Boeing 777 planes have arrived at Doncaster's Robin Hood Airport in South Yorkshire in the UK packed to brim  with biscuits because Britain is currently experiencing a national shortage of biscuits (what a nightmare). The Doncaster Free Press reports that after storms Eva and Desmond, the Biscuit Works factory in Carlisle which makes biscuits from McVitie's, Jacobs and Carr's range was badly damaged, thus creating a shortage of biscuits in the UK. Faced with this devastating prospect, it was decided to fly some of the UK's favourite teatime treats into the country to make sure national morale didn't plummet. “There has been a lot of press coverage about Britain’s biscuit shortage following the floods in December and we are pleased to hear that the factories hope to be up and running again this month," Dayle Hauxwell, cargo manager for Doncaster Sheffield Airport told the Doncaster Free Press. Dale also added an absolutely stunning pun: “We’ve welcomed all sorts of different cargo over the years... this time we’ve quite literally ‘taken the biscuit!'" Beautiful stuff.
