17-year-old Stefania Dubrovina was stabbed 140 times during a brutal attacked by her jealous sister. The up and coming model was killed in a flat of an unnamed 42-year–old in St Petersburg, in February. The young girl's body was 'almost ruined by cutting performed by the girl's elder sister', newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda reported. A friend of the teen told the newspaper that on the night of the attack, Stefania had gone to visit the man in the flat. It is unknown whether the relationship was romantic or not. 'It is not 100 per cent proved that she had romantic relations with his man,' said the friend. 'We are only sure that this man organised photo sessions for Stefania. She visited him a week before too.' On the 23^rd of February, she was joined by her sister. The three reportedly had a party but by midnight ran out of alcohol. The man left the apartment to get some. It is believed that once the man left Stefania was attacked by 19-year-old Elizaveta. A police source said the killer cut off the ears of her victims, gouged out her eyes and cut the whole body. A friend claimed Stefania's sister was always 'a bit crazy' and claims she was treated in a psychiatric clinic. The girls were raised in an orphanage with their aunt claiming that they have had a tough life. Stefania's aunt, Ekaterina Dubrovina, said the killing was a "shocking tragedy". "My blood turns to ice. These poor children are not guilty in their gruesome childhood and in all their unhappy life which unfortunately ended for Stefania," Ekaterina said.
