The taste of a grand stretch has been a welcome change over the past few weeks, and very soon the clocks will be going forward to give us even more daylight hours.
At 1:00AM on the last Sunday in March, the clocks will finally jump forward by one hour. So, less time in bed, more time enjoying your evenings after school and work.
There’s no need to worry about changing the times on your phone, it will automatically update as the change happens overnight.
Right away, some parts of Ireland will begin to enjoy sunsets as late as 8:00PM, with that stretching to 10:00PM come June and July.
Mayo, Kerry and Galway usually enjoy the latest sunsets in Ireland over the summer months due to their western coastlines.
However, the Eastern counties will still enjoy very late sunsets toward the end of June this year.
According to Time and Date, June 24th and 25th will host the latest sunset at 9:57PM in the East, while the summer solstice - the longest day of the year - is on June 21st.
