Off-licences obviously have regulations for a reason.
Irish off-licences especially often have very strict rules, like the later selling times on Sundays and the ban on the sale of alcohol altogether on Good Friday.
However, the Tesco in Cashel, Co. Tipperary (
our JOE bros determined the location) has its very own special rule, as pointed out by Tricia English and her cousin Sarah Jane.
As you can see, the sign clearly states that patrons can only buy twelve bottles of spirits at a time.
We can understand why you might need to stock up for a special occasion, but surely 12 full-size bottles is a tad excessive no?
Either way, for a limit it's a pretty generous one.
