Dear Milk Thief,
I would really appreciate if you could buy your own milk and stop robbing mine (which is small enough as it is).
Thanks to you I have been without my porridge for two days.
Thank you and Merry Christmas.
We think the tone here is extremely appropriate, the perfect balance of pleasant and firm.
However, the response elicited from the milk thief has filled us with rage.
It reads:
Dear Milk Owner,
If you're so concerned about your milk, please buy a bigger carton.
