A Dublin hotel has been named Condé Nast Traveller's best spot in Ireland, taking the spot after one hotel was named it three years running. The Marker has replaced The Westbury as the best spot to stay at in Ireland after the luxury hotel was top of the list for the last three years. The Marker, located on Dublin's Grand Canal and has a very distinct geometric architectural design has topped the 2021 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards. The hotel itself is well known across Dublin and Ireland for its very fabulous rooftop bar that overlooks the canal. The spot is also getting a reputation within Dublin's nightlife scene. Only getting more popular this year, people seemed to flood to the rooftop bar when we could only go outdoor dining, and it clearly worked in their favour. The Condé Nast Traveller reader's choice awards are voted in by the public, picking their favourite locations around the world, and to be put on the list is a big deal for hospitality and travel industries. The Marker is loved by Dubliners and those visiting the city centre, the hotel is full of elegant cocktails, minimalistic guest rooms and the spa that is to die for. Number two on the list was Donegal's Lough Eske Castle, the country's only 5-star hotel. The hotel sits on 43 acres of wooded estate hugging the shores of Lough Eske, with a castle at the base of the Bluestack Mountains outside Donegal town.
