You know you're crazy when you think you're just like Batman.
When he first summited Mount Everest in 1999, Joby Ogwyn was the youngest American to do so. This time he's going all the way to the top to jump from the 'roof of the world' using his "wing-suit" and other equipment.
Twenty-three people have died while using these wing suits but Ogwyn thinks he has the patience and training to survive. "I'm very scared. I think it's the fear of death or destruction that kind of keeps you above that. This is my dream and I'm willing to risk everything," he told CNN on Wednesday at skydiving practice.
If you don't already think the man is crazy, you should know that he compares himself to Batman. "He's just a normal guy who uses training and equipment to accomplish some incredible things and that's what I think my team and I are doing."
Exactly like Batman. Except he was saving lives and bringing justice to Gotham City.
Just FYI though, the wing-suit is equipped with cameras to share the experience of the jump with The Discovery Channel.
