It was started by two techies in New Orleans as a means for people to rent out their bathrooms for others to use during Mardi Gras, which is apparently infamous for public urination.
Some even offer perks such as "free beer with every pee" while others are using their bathrooms to raise money (you know, because bake sales are so 90s).
In case you were wondering, there’s only one bathroom on the market in Dublin and it's free as long as you are "good looking."
