Sponsored by Pot Noodle Brazilian BBQ Steak Flavour 1. Praia Da Pipa One of the most famous beaches in Brazil, Praia Da Pipa is a must-visit for those looking to kick back and relax. Located near the city of Natal in Rio Grande do Norte, the beach's name translate as "kite beach".  The beach boasts fine, white sand and crystal-clear waters and friendly locals. Many of the businesses in the area are run by foreigners, surfers and backpackers who visited the place and never left. 2. Pereque's beach Situated in Guaruja and the state of Sao Paulo, Pereque is widely known as a fisherman's beach. Surrounded by good restaurants, the seafood alone is reason enough to head there. This place is perfect for meeting some of the locals and walking along at sunset. 3. Ipanema Beach You'll find this beach in Rio de Janeiro and is known for its two mountains, the Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers) that rise at the western end of it. Divided by postos or lifeguard towers, it's probably the most social of all the beaches with alcohol sold everyone on its shore and loads of people playing sports on its sands. Surf in the area can hit as high as nine feet in the winter. 4. Taipu de Fora If you're looking for one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, this is the one. This gorgeous long beach holds many natural rock pools where people can swim or paddle around in. It's a difficult enough beach to get to, thus making it one of the most best kept secrets in the country. A 20 minutes drive from Barra Grande, you can often have segments of this beach to yourself. 5. Azeda Beach Going on a family trip? Why not head to Azeda. This secluded little beach in Búzios, is lovely to visit in the afternoon. The water is beautifully clears and there are barely any waves and little wind. A short walk over the headland from Ossos beach, this quiet beach is a must.
