Despicable Me was one of our favourite animated movies of the past decade, featuring super-villain Gru (who secretly boasted a heart of gold), three adorable girls and an army of hilarious minions.

Now, three years later, the sequel is finally on the way. Despicable Me 2 lands in Irish cinemas on June 28^th, with advance screenings taking place on June 22^nd and June 23^rd.

This time out, a reluctant Gru is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help deal with a powerful new super criminal.

Featuring the voices of Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, Ken Jeong, Russell Brand, Steve Coogan and many more, Despicable Me 2 is without doubt one of the most anticipated movies of the summer.
