The new recruits will be tasked with helping to keep a fleet of over 1,000 buses on the road, covering everything from preventative maintenance to repair of vehicles. It sounds like a deadly job, helping to connect people in the capital via new routes, new buses and new technologies, playing a big role in meeting Ireland's transport needs well into the future.
As per the job spec, the role will cover vehicle fault diagnosis, general maintenance and repair of vehicles, working with both hybrid and fully electric transport. What's more, the starting salary for Dublin Bus Mechanics goes up to €55k, including a 20% shift bonus, and you'll be paid in full while in training. Very nice, indeed.
