There's no better time to run, in our opinions. The air is cool, there's less traffic, and you get to see your surroundings in a completely different light (literally). Well, Night Run is back this year and it really is a marathon like no other - it doesn't start until the sun has set. For any marathoners out there who want to mix things up a little bit, you'd be mad not to sign yourselves up for this. The run is a 10 km marathon and takes place on Sunday, 28 April, at 9pm. It does a circuit of Dublin City Centre, with a good portion of the run taking you along by the Liffey. Sure it'll only be beautiful. There will be a group warm up for all the runners at 8:50pm, so make sure to get there on time! If you want to take part in the run, you can sign up online. Tickets are €35 per person, or €32 per person if you sign up a group of 10 people or more. However, to celebrate this year's run, Night Run are giving away TWO free entries, as well as a night's stay at Croke Park Hotel (Just a quick trip from the Night Run route - perfect!). PLUS they are also giving away a free cordless vacuum cleaner (worth €100!) by Beko, one of their partners for the event.
