This is going to be a good weekend simply because we have guaranteed sunshine all day long and then plenty of new Netflix additions for that necessary chill in the evening.
And the first flick going straight to the top of our list is the newly added 2012 hit, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
The flick followers 15-year-old Charlie, a self-confessed wallflower, who is suffering from the death of a close friend and also the haunting trauma of being sexually abused as a child. Charlie is starting freshman year in a new school when he meets two charismatic students who become his mentors and best friends. Teaching him how to love the life he lives and live the life he truly desires.
The film which stars Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller, together portray the challenges of growing up alongside the struggle of trying to find your place in society and feel comfortable in your own skin.
This film is truly a breath of fresh air and instils the message to live life now, right this moment with the people that matter and to "enjoy it because it's happening".
