That time of year when Love Island rolls around, we can always guarantee at least on islander will know someone famous. And more often than not, they're actually related to a famous face, or maybe it's just an ex that the world is very familiar with. We've decided to break down all the past islanders that have had some sort of famous connection, family or not, and there's some you'll definitely have forgotten about, because we sure did. Dani Dyer Kicking off the list with the most obvious, we have Danny Dyer's daughter. While the pair work together now from their MTV series True Love or True Lies as well as Dani's cameo in Eastenders recently. Danny apparently didn't want his daughter to head into the villa and didn't speak to her for weeks because of it, but if their work life now isn't anything to go by, the father daughter duo are doing just fine. Samira Mighty Next up from the 2018 series is Samira Mighty, and this one you definitely forgot about. Samira famously dated Hollywood actor Chris Pine after meeting at a GQ after party before her Love Island stint. She told Digital Spy: "I knew him from the Disney Channel. I thought, 'My God, he was in that movie with Lindsay Lohan,' and he kind of moved to me and I thought, 'He seems fun, he seems cool.'" While the two may have only been on one date, it's definitely something we'd constantly be telling everyone about it for the rest of our lives. Laura Anderson  And the last from season four is of course Laura, who also has a famous ex, well sort of. The pair are back together now but Laura and Another Level singer Dane Bowers dated well before her time in the villa. The pair split up before she went in but are now happily back together and living in Dubai. Tommy Fury Moving on to season five, the first that always comes to mind is Tommy Fury, boxing legend Tyson Fury's younger brother. Our jaws collectively dropped when we found out who Tommy's brother was, but he doesn't want to be known for that and make his own name in the boxing world. Belle Hassan Up next from 2019 is Belle Hassan, who's dad is actor Tamer Hassan. Known for his roles in The Football Factory and The Business, as well as appearing in Game of Thrones. Curtis Prichard Again from this series we have good oul Curtis, who you might have known before his Love Island stint as AJ from Strictly Come Dancing's younger brother. Of course the pair are a dancing duo now and a household name, but before he went into the villa, it was AJ everyone knew. Paige Turley Now onto the 2020 winter series and who could forget Paige Turley's famous ex Lewis Capaldi because we certainly still can't get over it. Lewis was her biggest fan through her time in the villa, making jokes about the whole thing the entire time, so they're definitely on good terms. Sophie Piper If you didn't know this one, we think you might need to get your eyes checked, but Sophie Piper from the 2020 series is none other than Rochelle Humes' younger sister. Like, these two are identical, we thought Rochelle had gone into the villa when she first showed up. Mike Boateng  Last of the winter islanders is not what we expected but Mike's brother made a special appearance on The Apprentice. Now managing his brother social media, Samuel was once in the boardroom trying to impress Alan Sugar. Shannon Singh She may have been the first to go this series but she has a pal that made it a lot further in the villa. Shannon used to do pageants with none other than former islander Molly Mae Hague, the more you know. Marcel Somerville We know what you're thinking, this isn't in order anymore? Yes, but we had to save the best until last. Who could forget that Marcel himself was in the Blazin' Squad? Well even if you did, he'd be sure to remind you every few hours.
