"Westlife are not your typical boyband. They grew up in rugged, rural Ireland. They didn’t do fame school," a source told the publication. "They performed together at school, had big dreams of making music, and later met Louis Walsh who helped make it all happen."
Sounds like the perfect musical to us.
The news comes as Westlife continue their resurgence. The band reformed this summer after a seven-year hiatus, playing to 600,00 fans in stadiums across Ireland, the UK and Asia.
This week they announced that their next Irish gig would be at Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh in August of next year. They are set to play two nights and will be supported by Emeli Sandé.Explore more on these topics:
