God is a woman.
And Ariana Grande is proof of that after last night's sold out performance at Dublin's 3Arena.
Taking to the stage for the first of three nights, the 26-year-old pop princess proved that her performance is a lot more than just vocals as she combined singing with incredible costumes, backing dancers, pyrotechnics and a moving set.
The show opened with
God is a Woman as Ariana belted out hit after hit including an extended version of
Thank U, Next and a stellar performance of
No Tears Left to Cry which caused a shiver down the spine of many.
One song which was notably missing from Ariana's tracklist was Ghostin which was written about her ex, Mac Miller. Mac unfortunetly passed away last year after an ongoing battle with drugs and so, it's taken that the song is just too raw for the singer to perform.
Fair.
When Ariana started her world tour earlier this year, many fans noted that she had
Mac Miller's album playing while people took their seats and got ready for the performance. A subtle nod to her former boyfriend and his incredible music.
Ariana will take to the 3Arena again for another sold out performance. Doors open at 6:30pm and the headline act is expected on stage just after 8:30pm.
