Rita Ora boasts a very impressive back catalogue, with number ones dating back as far as 2012.
However, before she had hit singles in the charts, Rita was hoping to explore a very different route into the music industry.
The singer actually auditioned to be the UK representative for the Eurovision in 2009 and nearly went too.
At the age of just 18, Rita signed up to audition for Your Country Needs You in the hopes of winning and being sent to Moscow to compete in the Eurovision.
Head judge Andrew Lloyd Webber was so impressed with the singer, that he selected her as the show’s winner.
But it looks like Rita changed her mind and turned down the offer.
Rita has since spoken about the career move she never took, saying:
“Imagine if I’d stayed! It would probably have been all over for me.
"At best, I’d be a contestant on that diving show…? Splash!”
