Earlier this week,
The Sun ran a story about how Cara Delevingne wasn't part of the 2014 Victoria's Secret show in London because of her weight. They reported that she was turned down for "being bloated".
In reponse to the article the CMO of Victoria's Secret, Edward Razek, wrote a lengthy letter to Cara explaining that the story was untrue and fabricated.
Edward wrote in his letter that "he rarely comments on tabloid gossip" but that the story was "a complete fabrication". He went on to contradict what
The Sun had claimed saying that, "Victoria's Secret made every effort to have [Cara] in the London Show". He even stated that Cara was the first person to receive an invite but due to her filming schedule she wasn't able to appear in the show.
Edward also noted, "The alleged casting, where supposedly disparaging remarks were made, never happened. There was NO casting. [Cara] has already been enthusiastically confirmed."
He ended it by extending an invite to the 2016 show which will take place in Paris.
After receiving the letter Cara posted it on Instagram saying, "it's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers #bloated ❤️ @victoriassecret"
