Last week the Irish incarnation of First Dates finally arrived on our screens.

From Federica who got a bit too close for comfort with her date to poor Amy who FRANKLY DESERVED BETTER, the show got off to a cracking start. Naturally, people absolutely loved it and it was no different this week. We saw Mark and Gemma, who had been on a date before many moons ago that Mark couldn't quite recall, Ciara and Kias (Kias has picked up women in Nandos), Conor and Laura (Laura was INTO Conor),  Dawn and Alannah Rose (no joy here), and Corey and Melissa (DOTES). There was talk of smelling like grandads and wisdom from maitre d' and love guru Mateo.
