At a time when TV reboots are about as common as Marvel movies, we had high hopes for The CW’s revival of the hugely popular 90s series, Charmed.
Yes, ever since it was first announced that the network was working on something around the Halliwell sisters, or as they’re called now the Vera sisters, we’ve been eagerly awaiting any sort of update.
Since the cast was confirmed last month, and character bios were revealed, we knew the reboot would take the show in a slightly different direction.
Well, now the first trailer for the new version of the show has dropped and it’s given a pretty good insight into what viewers can expect.
So, from the trailer, we’re just not that overly convinced these girls will be the new Prue, Piper, Phoebe or Paige.
But there is enough mystical intrigue to have us curious enough to watch at least one episode.
Who knows – it could totally surpass expectations and become our new favourite show. We'll just have to wait and see.
Charmed will be coming to our screens sometime in the autumn.
