We're not crying, you're crying.
Tom Hanks has revealed he has recorded his final line as Woody for
Toy Story 4, as he paid tribute to everyone's
favourite rootinest tootinest cowboy with an emotional post.
The 62-year-old, who has played the beloved character since the original
Toy Story in 1995, shared a behind-the-scenes photo on social media to mark the occasion.
He wrote on Instagram:
"Final line, final session as Woody of Toy Story 4. We rode like the wind, to infinity and beyond. Hans."
Tim Allen, who plays Buzz Lightyear, also announced that he had finished production on
Toy Story 4.
He wrote on
Twitter:
"Finished my Buzz for Toy Story 4 today and it got emotional.
"Wonderful full body story. You are all going to love the work this incredible team at Pixar created. We are all going to love this story....man its got everything."
Toy Story 4 will come out on June 21 - and another familiar face will be returning, too.
It was recently revealed that Bo Peep would be appearing in the fourth instalment of the beloved franchise - and with a makeover, too.
Disney announced in a statement:
"Bo Peep is back!
"This long-lost friend of Woody, Buzz and the gang always shared a special connection with Woody, but they have not seen each other in years, and Bo has become chipped and faded over time."
