It's not long to go now until the new season of The Fall, but before we get sucked into the world of Paul Spector and Stella Gibson we've been hearing some not-so-good news about the future of the show.
A few months back it was reported that this season would be the last but when it wasn't confirmed by the creator of the show, Allan Cubitt, we thought there might still be a chance it could surpass three seasons.
And while Allan has now confirmed that it will, he's brought some bad news for fans of the show. He has admitted that this season will be Jamie Dornan's last on the show, telling Digital Spy, "I don't think I'm giving much away in saying it's Jamie's last season. But that's not to say that we wouldn't do more of The Fall."
If that wasn't bad enough news it looks like we will be waiting longer than usual for another season with Allan adding, "I do have some thoughts. But I'm quite keen on doing other things as well, so it's not going to be straight away."
This season is due to pick up with Paul (Jamie) recovering in his hospital bed after being shot at the end of season two. Seeking justice, Stella (Gillian Anderson) wants him to live just so she can lock him up behind bars for the crimes he committed against women.
If the two teasers we've seen are anything to go by it's sure to be a brilliant season.
