Melissa Rivers has officially been revealed as the new co-host of popular TV show Fashion Police. The 47-year-old had been rumoured to take the hot spot for a number of weeks, following in the footsteps of her mother Joan, who had been on the show before her death in 2014. Melissa's mother Joan featured on the show. E! confirmed the news this week, revealing that Melissa will be joined by Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski for the next series. “As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy,” Jeff Olde of E! told Variety. “We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the Fashion Police cameras, as she joins returning panellists Giuliana and Brad." Melissa pictured with her mother Joan.  “And with the added flavour of rotating panellists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode.” The programme had been steeped in controversy in recent months due to comments made by Giuliana Rancic which saw host Kelly Osbourne quit the show. Kelly Osbourne quit the show earlier this year.  After a short break to regroup, Fashion Police looks set to storm our screens once more and we’ve got to say, we think this combination is going to be pretty interesting! The new series is set to premier on August 21^st.
