This new one gives more of an insight into the plot of the film, and Chris Hemsworth who plays their receptionist gets a lot more screen time. We also get a glimpse at the legendary Slimer, one of the most iconic characters in the show. There has been a bit of a kerfuffle about the film among hardcore fans of the original, and those who are for some reason annoyed that the film has an all-female cast. One critic from the site Cinemassacre has even refused to review it.
