"We don’t have an air date yet, but this year will probably be a little bit later," they said, speaking on UFC Unfilitered’s podcast.
"We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here' – and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."
If the fact wasn't bad enough that we're going to have to wait more than a year to see what the fuck happens in Westeros, it comes after we found out there are only going to be a handful of episodes to go at.
The showrunners confirmed last week that there are only 13 episodes left to come from the final two series - seven and eight, respectively. Life is so cruel.
