Strictly Come Dancing returns this September
September is just around the corner, which means the BBC has started announcing this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
And as excited as fans are for the show to return, many of them have been left disappointed by this year's line-up.
The Strictly line-up used to consist of big names in the UK, but has been pretty lacklustre in recent years.
This year's line-up includes former Love Island star Dani Dyer, social media star George Clarke, and Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.
Dr. Who actress Alex Kingston, football legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, and rugby player Chris Robshaw have also been announced.
The line-up may not be as strong as previous years, but fans are excited to see model Ellie Goldstein and Drag Race UK star La Voix join the show this year.
However, the line-up is missing those bigger names, and many fans have been expressing their disappointment online.
One wrote, "This is definitely the worst Strictly line up I've ever seen. It's like they've given up."
"The Strictly line up so far is pretty poor hope they pull something better out of the bag," another wrote.
"The Strictly come dancing line up so far is shockingly bad!!" one wrote.
It is understood that the full Strictly Come Dancing 2025 line-up will be confirmed by Friday.
The BBC has not yet confirmed when the new season of the show will air.
