Fans of Beauty and the Beast will love the remake when it hits cinemas this Friday, March 17th.
It completely lives up to our childhood memories and brings to life one of the best cartoons from Disney. While all our old favorites are back for a second time the new movie also introduces some new characters.
One of them is Cadenza, who is played by Stanley Tucci. At first, when I heard about a new character I was worried that it would force the narrative in a different direction but rest assured it doesn't.
It works the opposite way, in fact, with Cadenza's love story with the wardrobe, Madame Garderobe (played by Audra McDonald) being as compelling as Belle and Beast's.
I got to sit down with Stanley and Audra to speak about the movie, their love story and how Stanley was honoured with the Volta Award at the Dublin Film Festival a few years back.
