If there’s a great character and story to tell, why not?”John DeLuca, who produced the film, also said he thinks another film would happen as he praised the performance of Emily Blunt, who took on the role of the iconic nanny. The part was originally made famous by Julie Andrews, who played Poppins in 1964. He said:
“Emily does light up when she speaks to me about it. And if the people want it, I think it will happen.”
