Adapting a novel like Daisy Jones and The Six for the small screen was never going to be easy. The beloved book is one of the most talked about stories on bookstagram. It completely took over the bookish world when it was first published in 2019, quickly soaring to the top of the charts and then becoming a New York Times Bestseller.
The pressure to create a series just as good as the book was all too real for the Hello Sunshine and Amazon Prime team. They had to find the perfect cast to play those treasured characters, step back in time to the 70s, and create an album that readers have wanted to hear for years.
It was no easy feat but the series is a complete triumph. The cast and crew managed to bring an already perfect story to life and make it even better.
Riley Keogh and Sam Claflin were born to play Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne.
Suki Waterhouse and Will Harrison perfectly captured Karen and Graham and their complicated relationship.
Josh Whitehouse gave Eddie a new lease of life, turning him into a secretly caring and underrated member of the band.
Camila Morrone showed us just how vital Camila Dunne was to this story as the unofficial 7th member.
And Sebastian Chacon turned Warren into not only the heart of the band but the heart of the show.
Daisy Jones and The Six is a perfect adaptation. I'll go as far as saying it's the best book-screen adaptation ever, but the question is, will we get a season two?
As much as I adored every second of this show and as much as I'll miss this phenomenal cast, we don't need any more episodes. The ending in episode 10 is just too beautiful to compromise.

"Leave the door open? Why not?"
But showrunners Will Graham and Scott Neustadter said anything could happen.
They told
Variety that nothing has been decided about a second season, but the door is open.
"I think Taylor [Jenkins Reid] ended the book in a really, really beautiful way on a question that speaks to both the messiness of life and the road that it takes you down.
"The ending kind of leaves the door open for a continuation. I feel like there’s a pretty satisfying conclusion, but at the same time, there are some questions that go unanswered.”
Both agreed that they would love to work on a second season.
"If people are interested in this story and these people, maybe we’ll get an opportunity to do that. Leave the door open. Why not? If people enjoy what you’re doing and want more of it, that’s not a bad problem.”
The 10 episodes captured the book too perfectly so anything more would just take away from the masterpiece that is the Daisy Jones and The Six series. Daisy Jones and The Six exist in so many different art forms now and how lucky are we?
