As if we needed another reason to love the T2 Trainspotting actor.
Piers Morgan was left red-faced on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday when one of his guests refused to show up, purely because the controversial former newspaper editor was the host.
Ewan McGregor was due to promote his role as Renton in T2 Trainspotting on GMB but pulled out in the middle of the broadcast when he realised that Morgan was going to be interviewing him, alongside Susanna Reid.
In the middle of the show, Morgan and Reid issued an appeal for McGregor to show up.
Shortly afterwards, the actor tweeted this.

Ouch.
Morgan was not pleased. This all came after he had called into the question the Women's March that followed the inauguration of Donald Trump last Friday, and he was quick to reduce McGregor to the role of "just an actor" following this morning's snub.
