Last night's episode of First Dates Ireland marks the halfway point in the series.
It certainly lived up to the standard level of awkwardness we've learned to expect from the show at this stage.
While not everyone felt love's warm embrace, there was sparks of romance in the air for some.
There have been many moments over the series that have left us hiding behind our hands in a big ball of awkwardness praying for the end to come quickly.
On last night's show, Luke from Sligo went on a date with Corkonian Lauren, and the date went average enough, there wasn't a huge spark between them.
At the end of the date, the bill came, and the pair decided to split the bill, even though Lauren had said earlier to the camera that she expected her date to pay the bill.
This caused somewhat of a stir online as people debated whether or not Luke should have paid the bill himself or not...
