Yes, leaving the villa isn’t all bad news as your income goes through the roof for simply showing up. However, there is one of this year’s finalists who is expected to lose out on thousands of pounds after cancelling a string of appearance. Megan Barton Hanson did what all Islanders do when they’re no longer Islanders – she signed up for a lot of nightclub appearances. But after cancelling a PA in Scotland last week and reportedly cancelling the rest of her dates too, it looks like Megan could be saying goodbye to a serious pay-out. It is reported that the standard fee for these PAs is around £5,000, multiply that by the string of dates she was due to make, and Megan is missing out on a decent sum of cash. But the same can’t be said for boyfriend Wes. Yes, the founder of the DBS is expected to make in the region of £280,000 for roughly 50 club appearances over the next two months, and that’s not including any teeth whitening sponsorship that might come his way. Adam Collard, Georgia Steel, Sam Bird and Alexandra Crane are all also heading out on the road to earn some dollah.
