While we naturally hoped a One Tree Hill revival was on the cards, today it’s been confirmed that some of the series alums will be getting back together for a Lifetime Christmas movie. Yes, Hilarie Burton (Peyton), Robert Buckley (Clay), Danneel Ackles (Rachel), and Antwon Tanner (Skills) will all be reuniting for The Christmas Contract which is due to be released at the end of this year. The movie will tell the story of Jolie (Burton) who returns home for the first time since a big break-up. Realising her ex is bringing home a new girlfriend, Jolie’s best friend Naomi (Ackles) suggests her brother (Buckley) play make-believe boyfriend for a few days.WHAT IS HAPPENING ??? @HilarieBurton @antwon_tanner @DanneelHarris @robertbuckley pic.twitter.com/Yn81Yv7HQw

To be honest, the plot is pretty irrelevant.
All we need to know is some of our favourite members of the One Tree Hill cast are going to be in a Lifetime Christmas movie and we’re sold.
