And one dater proved that no matter where you go, or what you're doing, if your mammy wants to check up on you... she will.
In a gas clip from tonight's episode of First Dates Ireland, we see Blanchardstown natives Harris and Micha getting cosy over dinner only to be interrupted by a phone call from "the mammy" halfway through the date.
Harris is speaking about his closeness with his family and how he always puts them first when all of a sudden his phone rings. Hysterically laughing, his date Micha says: "Is that your mam? Answer it, answer it".
As the couple share a little giggle, Micha grabs the phone and tells Harris' mam that she "raised him so well".
Harris at this point is looking extremely mortified and abruptly hangs up as the two laugh about the situation.
Will it be sink or sail for the pair? We will just have to wait tonight to find out it seems. However, we sense real chemistry brewing here.
First Dates Ireland returns to RTÉ2 tonight at 9:30pm.
