Pedro Pascal is swapping Westeros for the DC Universe as he has joined the cast of Wonder Woman 2.
Variety report the actor, who played Oberyn Martell in season four of
Game of Thrones, has signed on for a "key role" in the superhero sequel.

Pascal, who is also well known for his role as Javier Peña in Narcos, was announced following the news that Kristen Wiig will join the film as the villain, Cheetah.
Details of his role are being kept pretty tightly under wraps (like most of the plot details for the film) so far.
The Wonder Woman sequel will be a reunion for himself and the director, Patty Jenkins, who last worked together on the TV movie
Exposed.
Pascal confirmed the news on Twitter, writing:
"Joining legends , and for . Pinch me?"

The first
Wonder Woman movie was released in June 2017.
It quickly became one of the largest hits of the DC Extended Universe film franchise, among both critics and fans - earning more than $821 million at the box office.
Gal Gadot will return to star in the sequel, while Patty Jenkins is coming back to direct the film.
It is slated to hit theatres in November 2019.
