Olivia Wilde has once again addressed the rumours of an apparent feud between her and Florence Pugh, who stars in her upcoming film Don't Worry Darling. Speculation that the pair haven't been getting along began when fans noticed that Florence has done little to no press for the film. What's more, a leaked conversation between Wilde and Shia LaBeouf reveals Olivia referred to Florence as "Miss Flo" and suggested she needed a "wake-up call". The conversation was leaked by LaBeouf, who has said that he wasn't fired from the project, as Wilde claimed, but instead left on his own accord. In the messages, it appears as though Wilde is trying to convince LaBeouf to stay, which is contrary to her claims that she let him go in order to protect the other actors on set. Don't worry Darling had its premiere at Venice earlier this week, and it was eventful, to say the least. Florence didn't take part in the press conference, and only joined her co-stars on the Red Carpet. Olivia has previously disputed claims of a feud between the two, and, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she addressed the reports once more. Praising her lead actress, she said: "Florence did the job I hired her to do, and she did it exquisitely. She blew me away. Every day I was in awe of her, and we worked very well together. She later added that she has a tendency to "be everyone's best friend and to socialise", while Florence "needed the time and space to focus".
