Just as we were mentally preparing to endure every emotion possible as Conversations With Friends is set to drop, we suddenly have to relive the heartbreak that was Normal People. Fans have spotted a heartbreaking scene in the series that even after two years, we never noticed before. Posting the clip on TikTok, user @chloz18 captioned it "brb crying", showing the scene with Connell in school after Marianne has dropped out. If you need a recap, it has been two years after all, Marianne dropped out of school when Connell told her he was taking Rachel to the debs. As she comes in for exams still, she spends the rest of her time studying at home and the pair aren't reunited again until they get to college. But what is this gesture? When she drops out, Connell begins sitting in her chair in class, a nod to her.

Obviously not expecting their hearts to be completely shattered, fans couldn't cope seeing this new revelation, with one commenting: "Screaming crying throwing up." BBC Three dropped the much anticipated trailer last week and to say we were excited is an understatement. The upcoming series follows 21 year old college student Frances who is forced to navigate a series of relationships. BBC said: "Frances is observant, cerebral and sharp. Her ex-girlfriend, now best friend, Bobbi is self-assured, outspoken and compelling. "Though they broke up three years ago, Frances and Bobbi are virtually inseparable and perform spoken word poetry together in Dublin. It’s at one of their shows that they meet Melissa, an older writer, who is fascinated by the pair.
