Last month, Netflix viewers were blown away by gangster-comedy series, The Gentleman.
The Guy Ritchie-directed show brought Theo James and Kaya Scodelario together as the infamous crime duo, Eddie Halstead and Susie Glass.
The first season enjoyed huge success on the streaming platform with over 44 million views in four weeks.
Following its acclaim, Netflix is reportedly in talks with Ritchie about a second season.
Bosses are eager to reunite the cast – which includes leads, James and Scodelario, as well as, Ray Winstone, Daniel Ings, and Vinnie Jones.
"It’s going to be quite a challenge getting the same actors back together, but Netflix chiefs are keen for a sequel," a TV insider told The Sun.
"Another hurdle will be securing Guy for the series as he already has several movie projects in the pipeline this year.
"But the success of series one has already convinced them there’s huge potential for a follow-up."
The series is based on Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name.
The Gentleman centres around the life of Eddie Halstead and his aristocratic family, who live at Halstead Manor.
After the death of Eddie's father, the Duke of Halstead, he inherits everything, surpassing his older brother, Freddy (Daniel Ings), for the title, manor, and substantial assets.
This includes the cannabis empire run by the Glass family which operates on the country estate.
While Eddie works to untangle his family and home from the illegal operation, he falls deeper and deeper into London's criminal underworld by playing the gangsters at their own games.
He ultimately comes to realise he has a talent and interest in this world of business.
The conclusion of the first series ends with Eddie committing to and investing in career criminal Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone) and his daughter Susie's operation.
