Netflix has renewed Virgin River for a sixth season.
The streaming service confirmed the show will return for a sixth season this week.
The popular Netflix series is based on the books by Robyn Carr. Ever since the show aired on Netflix in December 2019, the series has been one of the most-watched shows on Netflix.
It follows nurse practitioner Melinda 'Mel' Monroe who moves to Virgin River in Northern California.
Mel signs up to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the small town but realises living in a small town isn't as serene as she believed it would be.
In the last season of Virgin River, Mel and Jack discover they are expecting their first child. However, things take a turn when Jack's ex Charmaine reveals she is also pregnant with his twins.
The romantic drama stars Martin Henderson, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Tim Matheson.
Season five of Virgin River will be released on Netflix on September 7th.
